Goal

How to create a connection pool for an OC4J instance using JMX in OC4J 10.1.3.3.

When creating a new data-source entry by using the OC4J command line tool, one can define a connection pool but no additional properties for this connection pool can be set.
By using JMX, a custom Java application can be coded to use the JMX API to first create the connection pool and then to add the attributes to it, and this note provides some sample Java code on how this can be done.
