Symptoms
After configuring Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS 6) on Windows Server 2003 for using the Content Server ISAPI filter, no service calls function through a web browser. For example, attempting to login, or even attempting to access the static portal.htm page, produces 404 errors or TCP errors in the browser.
When this happens, the Windows Event Viewer Event IDs 2214 and 2268 are logged on the server where IIS 6 is installed.
