Oblog Configuration Files in (Doc ID 472622.1)

The OAM logging mechanisim is further enhanced with release. There is a new section called "module_config" that allows users to specify a different log level for each of the modules.

Since the OAM upgrade/patch process does not override the existing oblog configuration file, the user will need to manually edit the oblog configuration file to take advantage of this new feature. The files to update are:

  1. For Identity Server: oblog_config.xml
  2. For Access Server: oblog_config.xml
  3. For Policy Manager( formerly Access Manager ): oblog_config_am.xml
  4. For Webgate: oblog_config_wg.xml
  5. For Webpass: oblog_config_wp.xml
