How to unlock/reset super user orcladmin when the ODS password has been forgotten or is unknown / not known in Oracle Internet Directory (OID)?

Some errors that are associated with locked or invalid superuser credentials, and that can be corrected with the steps below, are as follows:

From the ldapbind command:

ldap_bind: Invalid credentials
ldap_bind: additional info: Super user login: cn=orcladmin

OR

ldap_bind: additional info: Password Policy Error :9001: cn=orcladmin : Your account is locked.
Please contact the Administrator.


From the oidpasswd command:

ERROR * gsldpuUnlockSuAccount * ORA-1017:ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied
ldap_bind: DSA is unwilling to perform
