BPEL Process Not Enqueing To XML Gateway - Network Adapter IO error - java.lang.NullPointerException (Doc ID 472891.1)

Symptoms

-- Problem Statement:
You are using the apps Adapter with the XML Gateway feature to enqueue to ECX_INBOUND in an apps environment.
The enqueue fails with the following error:
