OC4J Renames A Cookie to $OC4J_encoded_{cookie-name} When Value Contains a Space or Other Illegal Characters

This problem can occur on any platform.


After upgrading Oracle Application Server to or,  cookies created by applications are being renamed by OC4J. OC4J renames cookies using a syntax as shown below causing issues for applications that need to read the cookie value.
