OID Password Filter Stops Synchronizing Password Changes After Switching / Moving / Reconfiguring to a New / Different AD Server (Doc ID 549529.1)

Symptoms

Active Directory (AD) Password Filter password changes were synchronizing with Oracle Internet Directory (OID) 10g, 11g, 12c or higher without problems.

After switching/moving/reconfiguring the Password Filter on a different AD Domain Controller (DC) on same or new/different domain, but still against the same OID server, the Password Filter no longer syncs password changes.
