iPlanet / eDirectory import mapping does not get attribute orclSourceObjectDN during bootstrap (Doc ID 553912.1)

Symptoms

The attribute orclsourceobjectdn is not created in OID during the bootstrap process, this issue is affecting the functionality of the External Authentication Java Plugins where the attribute is required.

Following mapping rules have been used with no success:

targetdn:1: : :orclSourceObjectDN: :orclSunOneObject:

and

targetdn:1::changelogEntry:orclSourceObjectDN:string:orclSunOneObjectct:targetdn

Note: This issue only happens during the bootstrap process (dipassistant bootstrap), the previous mapping rules will work as expected after the synchronization is started and additions and changes begin synchronizing.
