Symptoms
-- Problem Statement:
Polling by a DB adapter is not happening at the correct defined polling interval. Polling seems to happen at random times. The database being polled is version Oracle 8i.
-- Steps To Reproduce:
(1) Update the database table that is being polled.
(2) Wait for the db adapter polling interval to expire, e.g. 60 seconds.
(3) Polling will not happen in this interval - it will happen, but the timing may be several minutes later than the defined polling interval.
