Symptoms
1) The installation of OracleAS 10g (10.1.2.0.2) Infrastructure/Identity Management fails at the OID Configuration
Assistant Stage (OIDCA) with the error :
2) At the point of failure OIDCA is running and the output from 'opmnctl status' shows OID as 'Alive', but the OID ports selected at the start of the installation (e.g. 389 or 626) cannot be seen with 'netstat -an'
3) Once OIDCA finishes, the output from 'opmnctl status' shows OID as 'Down'.
4) No Load balancer is being used.
