IPM Search Manager Service Stops Responding After Stale Connection Clean Up Resulting in Communication Errors on Other IPM Services (Doc ID 555029.1)

Symptoms

The Search Manager Service is locking up and crashing. This causes all other services that are configured on the same server to hang and crash too. It also causes Request Broker to error with the following error:

"Request Broker Route Preferred Server Not Found"
