This bulletin will help to explain Oracle's position regarding the use of Oracle Jinitiator and/or Sun JRE/JPI with Oracle Forms version 10.1.2.x.  The purpose of this bulletin is not to replace the Forms Client Statement of Direction but rather to supplement it and help better describe our direction going forward.

This bulletin is intended for Oracle Forms application developers and administrators.  The following information is specific to custom built (non Oracle E-Business) applications.  Customers using Oracle Forms applications as part of Oracle Applications (E-Business) should refer to the Oracle Applications documentation or contact Support for details related to E-Business environments.
