Avoid JAX-RPC Errors in BPEL to BPEL Calls (Doc ID 558284.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 05, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle(R) BPEL Process Manager 10g - Version 10.1.3.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

You are running BPEL in an active-active High Availability configuration.

Making a BPEL-to-BPEL call returns the folllowing fault:

<remoteFault xmlns="http://schemas.oracle.com/bpel/extension">
<part name="summary">
<summary>exception on JaxRpc invoke: trailing block elements must have an id attribute</summary>
</part>
</remoteFault>

This fault appears in the BPEL Console Audit Trail for the process instance.

If one node is shut down, the fault does not occur.

Likewise, this fault does not occur for a single-node configuration.

How can you make a successful BPEL-to-BPEL call in a cluster scenario?
