Symptoms

The OAM watchdog process dies after startup.

Steps To Reproduce:
# ./start_ois_server
OIS Server started with pid: 6117

# ois_server Identity Server started on port 6022 in simple security mode.
Starting OIS server Watchdog.....
OIS Server Watchdog started with pid: 6122

# ps
PID TTY TIME CMD
6163 pts/1 0:00 sleep
6117 pts/1 0:03 ois_serv
6057 pts/1 0:00 sh
6164 pts/1 0:00 ps
6122 pts/1 0:00 ois_serv
# ps -ef | grep 6122
root 6122 1 0 10:16:48 pts/1 0:00 /bin/sh
/idm_sw/AccessManager/identity/oblix/apps/common/bin/ois_server_watchdog

# exit

Close the existing login session and start a new one:

# ps -p 6122
PID TTY TIME CMD
#

This issue occurs on Sun Solaris environments and cannot be reproduced on linux systems.
