Last updated on SEPTEMBER 06, 2016
Applies to:
Oracle HTTP Server - Version: 9.0.4.0 to 10.1.2.3.0 - Release: AS10g to AS10gR2Generic Windows
Goal
Can a rule be defined in the Oracle Proxy Plugin for Sun One Server, which allows requests to be forwarded to individual Forms applications?
For example:
Sun One Server is listening on http://myproxy.com
Oracle HTTP Server is listening on http://myohs.com:7779 as part of a BI and Forms Middle Tier install
A specific Forms application is available at:
http://myohs.com:7779/forms90/f90servlet?config=myform1
The goal is to create a proxy rule in oracle_proxy.conf, that pattern matches against the specific uri, and only sends requests for 'myform1' to this backend Forms application.
However, a pattern matching rule defined in oracle_proxy.conf as below does not work, and nothing gets forwarded on to HTTP Server:
