REP-56066: PL/SQL error: - 1461 or - 1001 when insert job info to database (Doc ID 563316.1)

Symptoms

Having jobStatusRepository feature enabled in Reports Server configuration file to record Reports Queue information into the database and running Oracle Reports where long parameters are being passed can cause the following errors when information is trying to be inserted into rw_server_job_queue database table.

Jobid XXX: Terminated with error: Rep-56066: PL/SQL error:- 1461 when insert job info to database.
Jobid YYY: Terminated with error: Rep-56066: PL/SQL error:- 1001 when insert job info to database.

After getting this error Reports  Server does not work for any reports submitted after it. If Reports Server is stopped and restarted other reports can be run.

Additional errors like the following can also be displayed:

ExceptionFinished successfully -1461 : ORA-01461: can bind a LONG value only for insert into a LONG column
