Update to DB2/400 Table Using DB Adapter Fails with SQL7008 (Doc ID 565034.1)

Symptoms

When initiating a process which uses a DB Adapter to perform an insert to a DB2/OS400 database with an unjournaled table, you see the following error:

ERROR

"java.sql.SQLException: [SQL7008]  XXXXX  in YYYYYY not valid for operation."
