Purpose

Note that the grace period has ended for ODI releases where this issue may occur. It is recommended to upgrade to the latest version possible.
For more information reference: <Document 456313.1> Primary Note For Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and Legacy Sunopsis, Releases and Patches

For performance reasons, the deployment of Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 10g Agents on IBM iSeries (AS/400) requires the compilation of the Java packages (.class, .jar and .zip files) into Java programs.

Due to its increasing size, it is becoming increasingly impossible to compile the "sunopsis.zip" file with the command actually recommended in the Getting Started With Oracle Data Integrator > Installation Guide.

When compiling with command:

CRTJVAPGM CLSF('sunopsis.zip') OPTIMIZE(40)

following message has been signaled:

Message . . . . : Function error X'74A0' in machine instruction. Internal
dump identifier (ID) 0100C9CB.

Cause . . . . . : The machine instruction that was running failed. Time
stamp is 08/11/05 15:58:40, error code is X'74A0', error class is 0, device
number is X'0000'.

The error class indicates how the damage was detected:
0000-unspecified abnormal condition;
0002-logically invalid device sector;
0003-device failure. For error class 0003, the device number identifies the
failing device, or contains zero if main storage failed.

Recovery . . . :
Start problem analysis (ANZPRB command)
