Arabic Data Stored In The Database Is Not Shown Correctly After Upgrading To The Web (Doc ID 577599.1)

Symptoms

After upgrading to Forms on the web, Arabic data queried from the database is not displayed correctly. Data is shown in Arabic, however, some Arabic characters are not displayed correctly, the characters are replaced with different other Arabic characters, causing the Arabic data to be meaningless.

When querying the data from SQL*Plus or from Forms 6i client/server,  the data is displayed correctly.

This Data was inserted using Oracle Forms 6i and the client NLS_LANG was set to <language>_<territory>.AR8ISO885P6 and the database character ser was set also to AR8ISO885P6.
