OS Time Is Not Consistent With The Time In Oracle AS / OC4J Logfiles (Doc ID 580550.1)

Times logged in the OC4J containers log files are not in correct timezone.

For example in $ORACLE_HOME/opmn/logs/default_group~home~default_group~1.log

The first line of entry is written by opmn which is showing the correct timestamp as per customer's timezone. The lines after that are written from the oc4j container and is 8 hours behind the actual time on server.
