Applies to:

Oracle BAM (Business Activity Monitoring) - Version and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

On in Production:
Create a sensor and sensor action in Oracle BPEL Process Manager to publish BPEL activity data as
data objects on an Oracle BAM Server. BPEL is configured using SSL. BAM is using HTTP

The following error occurs and no data are populated into BAM after invoking the BPEL process.

<2008-02-20 10:33:54,179> <INFO> <cosmos_lookup.collaxa.cube.sensor> Unable to
allocate BAM sensor action
<2008-02-20 10:33:54,182> <ERROR> <cosmos_lookup.collaxa.cube.sensor> https

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1) Created BPEL process with simple BAM activity sensor on an assign activity that sends the
instance id and a timestamp to the BAM data object.
2) The error is occuring every time the BPEL web service is executed. The error is being logged
in the domain.log file for the domain that this web service is deployed to.
