JDBC OCI Driver Leaks Memory Using Method getSubString() (Doc ID 605788.1)

Symptoms

JDBC OCI Driver causes a memory leak intermittently when the getSubString() method is used as follows:

java.sql.Clob clob = results.getObject(1); // Where 1 is a CLOB column
String value = clob.getSubString(1, (int)clob.length());
