Symptoms
Oracle HTTP Server (OHS) is configured for SSL
All Non-SSL ports i.e HTTP ports, have been disabled, so OHS listens on SSL only
All SSL connections from browsers are working correctly The $ORACLE_HOME/Apache/Apache/logs/error_log and ssl_engine_log however, contains several of the following errors:
All the errors are coming from connections made on localhost 127.0.0.1
The Application Server still functions without issue, but the error will continue to be reported if not addressed. It will not result in any issues, the information is simply provided to clean up the errors in the log files.
