Symptoms

When attempting to use the Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) XML Driver version External Database feature with Microsoft SQLServer to store the relational schema derived by the XML Driver from a DTD, XSD or an XML file, the following message is signaled when testing the connection to the Data Server from ODI Topology Manager > Physical Architecture :
