Appending Null Element in Response While Invoking BPEL Process Through SOAP (Doc ID 730214.1)

Last updated on JUNE 18, 2018

Applies to:

Oracle(R) BPEL Process Manager - Version: 10.1.3.1 to 10.1.3.2.0 - Release: AS10gR3 to AS10gR3
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When you invoke BPEL Process through SOAP Delivery, in the response null element is appended like the following:

<EpaymentProcessProcessResponsehttp://xmlns.oracle.com/EpaymentProcess>
<null>
<ROWSET>
<ROW>
<PV_ERROR_FLAG_O>N</PV_ERROR_FLAG_O>
<PV_ERROR_MSG_O></PV_ERROR_MSG_O>
<PV_RECEIPT_NUM_O>12651221-CCeSrv</PV_RECEIPT_NUM_O>
</ROW>
</ROWSET>
</null>
</EpaymentProcessProcessResponse>

Note that usually this issue happens for elements without namespace. Same problem happens when invoked through SOAP client.
But when invoked through Java Delivery null element is not appended to the response.
