Goal

You have ODI CDC started on some source tables and among the changes tracked, there are also Deletes. You may wonder what options are available in ODI for such journal changes.

The IKM Oracle Incremental Update Synchronize deletions from journal step deletes the records on the target table that were tacked as a Delete on the source table journals. This Note shows how to enable such journal changes tracked as Deletes getting deleted and how to perform a soft delete instead of a physical delete.
