Full Text Indexing Leads to the Error: "intradoc.data.DataException: !csJdbcCommitError!$No more data to read from socket" (Doc ID 731660.1)

Symptoms

Certain documents that have special character set combination would fail  full text indexing, and would throw the exception :


"Full text index failed. Unexpected failure by Indexer.
Content has been indexed with Info only. Resubmit should only be performed if the problem has been resolved."

When the indexer tries to index these documents, the following exception is written to the console  :

intradoc.data.DataException: !csJdbcCommitError!$No more data to read from socket
