The 'opmnctl start' command fails with a crash dump.

A trace of the process using "strace -f -v -o opmnctl.trc ./opmnctl start" includes the following message:

8546 write(24, "111,22,333,44 - - [20/Aug/2008:1"..., 474) = -1 EFBIG (File too large)
8546 --- SIGXFSZ (File size limit exceeded) @ 0 (0) ---
