Search in OIDDAS Unable to Find Existing Users (Doc ID 733680.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to add a user to a group via OIDDAS, searching for an existing user fails to find it.

From the main page in OIDDAS, go to Directory > Groups > search for a group > select that group > click Manage > Edit > Add User > search for a user. The OID debug log will show 0 entries returned:
