Goal

Connectors like Sun Java System Directory5.2, Exchange etc provide parameters like IsNativeQuery and CustomizedReconQuery to allow controlling search scopes of search being performed at the target during the reconciliation process. The connector guide does not provide enough information and does not clarify in details about when and in which situation one should use IsNativeQuery and  CustomizedReconQuery Parameters especially while using reconciliation in Oracle Identity Manager. It is also not clear from the connector guide about what format of search filters should be used for CustomizedReconQuery parameter when IsNativeQuery parameter is set to “Yes” and “No” value.
