This document is intended for OracleAS 10.1.3.x administrators and J2EE developers deploying applications for OracleAS 10.1.3.x who wish to refresh a Connection Pool using an MBean.

There should never be a need to refresh a Connection Pool as stale connection should be handled automatically by the pool. One way to avoid stale connection is to follow this note, should stale connections be your issue.
