Symptoms
Barcode is implemented in Reports as per the following example:

Running the report using "rwservlet" or "rwclient" produces "junk" files of about 4 Kilobytes in
the "Working Directory". Renaming this "junk" file to ".jpg" shows the image file of the Barcode used in the report.
Working Directory:
The directory from which the "Report Server" is started, or where the script used to start it is located. This is the same as JVM Option "user.dir".
