Purpose

When viewing an Imaging object in the IPM Activex OptPage control, a developer will use the LoadOptikaPage method.  This method will load an image into the control.  The parameters of this method determine the object to be viewed and security for the object.  This note explains the Viewer Flag and Annotation Security parameters and how they work with the LoadOptikaPage method.  This note concentrates mainly on being able to view, add, modify annotations on the image.

Scope

This document is intended for developers.  The code samples were created in Microsoft Visual Basic 6.
