(Doc ID 737627.1)

Applies to:

Oracle JDeveloper - Version: and later   [Release: and later ]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

You developed an ADF Faces application with JDeveloper 10.1.3
The application includes its own servlet filter to detect and handle user session expiry, as explained in
Frank Nimphius's blog.

This application behaves correctly in the Embedded OC4J.
It also works correctly when deployed in Tomcat 5.0.28
However, when deployed in your Oracle Application Server 10g (with ADF Runtime
Libraries updated), then the application doesn't behave correctly:
as soon as you click on a button, you are redirected to the page used for the session expiry.
