This problem can occur on any platform.
Symptoms
A BPEL service is designed to send emails. When an exception occurs in the notification process, the error is not thrown back to the BPEL process.
Example :
- when a valid 'To' email address is used everything works fine
- when an invalid 'To' email address is used, the Notification Exception is not thrown in the BPEL process
Changes
This behavior happens from 10.1.3 release onwards.
