Information in this document applies to any platform.
This problem can occur on any platform.

In an Application Server 10.1.3 environment on AIX with several nodes "opmnctl @cluster status" returns the same node twice in some cases. The topology is as follows:

host1 -> subnetA
host2 -> subnetB
host3 -> subnetB

Each node has its own local IP and expose a different IP to the nodes in the other subnet using NAT (Network Address Translation). The nodes have been specified in $ORACLE_HOME/opmn/conf/opmn.xml as an static node list using the local IP for each node, e.g. for host1:

   <notification-server interface="ipv4">
      <ipaddr remote="ip1" request="ip2"/>
      <port local="port1" remote="port2" request="port3"/>
      <ssl enabled="true" wallet-file="$ORACLE_HOME/opmn/conf/ssl.wlt/default"/>
         <nodes list="host1:port2,host2:port2,host3:port2"/>
