Last updated on FEBRUARY 23, 2024

Oracle Tuxedo - Version 12.2.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Purpose

In a Tuxedo application, the processes in Tuxedo cannot complete their current work, don't response to new requests, and normally these processes will also consume a small amount of the CPU.

On the Tuxedo server side, there are two types of processes that might hang: Tuxedo administrative processes (e.g., DBBL, BBL, BRIDGE, GWTDOMAIN, GWADM, TMS, etc.) and application processes. In this documentation, we mainly focus on application processes hanging.
