Find that you are unable to add symbols to the Shift Calendar Model/Process Instantiation model because they open as read-only mode:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
Open Business Process Architecture
1. Go to Explorer -> Oracle BPA Network
2. Create a new datbase
3. Navigate to Main Group, right click mouse -> New model
4. Select Shift Calendar or Process Instantiation Model, provide a name and click OK
A pop-up window will display the following message:
Model <Title Model> will open read-only
5. The diagram will be created BUT you cannot add any symbol as they are disabled.
Why Shift Calendar & Process Instantiaton Models are read-only?
