Information in this FAQ may apply to older Outside In releases as well, but the valid versions are listed as 8.2.2 because the bugs referenced in this list pertain to issues discovered in that specific release (in most cases).


Purpose

The purpose of this FAQ is to provide some insight on date formatting in Outside In Viewer Technology (OIVT) or Outside In ActiveX Viewer (OIX). Note that some of this data may be relevant to the indexing and Export APIs as well, when referencing specific option settings, or describing issues.
