Symptoms

Upon search, the search fails with error:

Unable to retrieve search results. Error E3-0029 (VDK):Collection /opt/stellent/search/index1/intradocbasic/ is down and not currently available.

 1. Determine the current Verity search collection locale.
 2. Determine which index directory is currently being used as the search collection:
 
3. Append to the operating system's ld library path, the location of the Verity libraries:
 
 4. Execute the repair command...
 The command syntax (must be all on one line without carriage returns):
 Example command for a Solaris platform with a "uni" locale and a current index directory of index1:
 
 Example command for a Windows platform with an "englishv" locale (the Content Server default) and a current index directory of index2.
