This note provides a description of the individual Logger Name parameters in the BPEL Admin console. This is not to be confused with the BPEL Console, which has its own logging parameters (see <Note 391424.1>).
The BPEL Admin loggers are responsible for logging at a BPEL installation-wide level. Changes made to these parameters are written to the configuration file $ORACLE_HOME/bpel/system/config/log4j-config.xml.
When logging is enabled, the log output for all the loggers is written to the domain.log file, located in $ORACLE_HOME/bpel/domains/<DOMAIN NAME>/logs/domain.log. These individual logger parameters for BPEL Admin can be accessed in the BPEL Admin console, as follows:
- Log in to BPEL Admin, e.g. at e.g. at http://hostname.domain:7777/BPELAdmin
- Select the Server tab
- Select the Logging tab
- Scroll down to view and set the logging levels for the individual loggers, as shown in the following diagram:
This note applies to the BPEL Process Manager versions 10.1.2.0.0 and higher, but may include information relevant to earlier too.
