Purpose

This document provides details of tuning parameters applicable to tuning BPEL 10.1.3 or SOA Suite 11g running with the SUN Java Development Kit (JDK) . The document provides a sample configuration which may be used as a starting point for performance tuning the SUN JDK.

 

 

Scope

This document is intended to be an initial guide to tuning the SUN JVM. Support can only provide guidelines about tuning issues involving complex installation and cannot give exact numbers, and can recommend only minimum values needed for running SOA Applications. Defining the application requirements is part of the development process as well as tuning. The application has to be tested also on the topic of scalability.
