Symptoms

GoldenGate Integrated Replicat process or Oracle Streams apply process is slow in applying changes because sys.streams$_apply_progress segment has become large.

Also  apply trace shows:

A001: apply server 2 blocked on server 3
A001: [enq: TX - index contention] name|mode=54580004, usn<sequence=db2d7
