Forms Sessions Invoked Using CTRL+N Hang, When the Parent Form Hangs (Doc ID 752775.1)

This problem can occur on any platform.

Symptoms

Invoking a second Forms session in a new browser window (IE 6 or IE7, File- New- New window) to work with another Forms session.

If the first session is blocked (hanging due to executing a long query or loop), the second session is blocked as well. this means that the two sessions are not independent!
