Symptoms

The following error appears in the IPM Information Broker Logs:

InfoBroker: General COM error. Desc: {OLE/DB provider returned message: Multiple-step OLE DB operation generated errors. Check each OLE DB status value, if available. No work was done} Code: -2147217900

InfoBrkr: The linked server could not be added to the cache.
