Naming Services Failing to Start with org.omg.CORBA.ORBPackage.InvalidName (Doc ID 754170.1)

Symptoms

Server machine where Naming Services was running ran out of disk space. After cleaning/adding space to file systems and doing a Server machine reboot naming services won't start.

The following behavior is shown trying to start Naming Services:

namingservice.sh 14022 &

Error:
org.omg.CORBA.ORBPackage.InvalidName at
com.sun.corba.se.internal.corba.InitialNamingClient.cachedInitialReferences(InitialNamingClient.java:1189) at
com.sun.corba.se.internal.corba.InitialNamingClient.resolve_initial_references(InitialNamingClient.java:1079) at com.sun.corba.se.internal.corba.ORB.resolve_initial_references(ORB.java:2436) at
oracle.reports.utility.NamingServer.createNamingService(NamingServer.java:302) at
oracle.reports.utility.NamingServer.run(NamingServer.java:236) at
java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:534)
org.omg.CORBA.ORBPackage.InvalidName Naming Server is not responding. Restarting..Naming Service
started successfully
org.omg.CORBA.COMM_FAILURE: vmcid: SUN minor code: 201 completed: No
