How To Change the Length of Oracle Data Quality Data Parser Output Fields (Doc ID 755539.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 20, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Data Integrator - Version 10.1.3.4.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

You are recoding some suffix in Oracle Data Quality (ODQ) Customer Data Parser and the values are longer than the Parser output fields size limit of 15 characters.

For example:

'MYFILES INSURA' should be recoded to 'MYFILES INSURANCE' but it has been truncated to 'MYFILES INSURAN'.

Increasing the size of PR_NAME_SUFFIX_RECODED_01 field to be 32 characters but after running this batch the values are still truncated to 15 characters.
