Applies to:Oracle Applications InterConnect Tool Kit - Version: 10.1.2.0.2 to 10.1.2.3
InterConnect Adapters - Version: 10.1.2 to 10.1.2.3
This problem can occur on any platform.
On an InterConnect installation with multiple adapters installed on a single machine, the following behaviour is seen:
when starting the adapters, a certain number of adapters start normally, but adapters started after these are listed with status "suspended" when viewed in ICManager. The sequence of starting the adapters is largely irrelevant. If different adapters are started first, then other adapters will be suspended.
There are no error messgages listed in the adapters' log files.
Steps To Reproduce:
- Start InterConnect adapters one-by-one
- Monitor their statuses using ICManager
- Confirm that some adapters start up normally, but after a specific number of adapters has been
started, subsequent adapters are listed with status "suspended"
- Shut down all adapters
- Restart the adapters in a different sequence and monitor their statuses again. Confirm that there are now different adapters which are suspended from those suspended during the previous attempt
