When editing Microsoft Word Documents Containing Large Tables - Oracle Drive Is Too Slow To Be Useful (Doc ID 758956.1)

Symptoms

-- Problem Statement:
Using Content Services version 10.1.2.3.0 in Production:
Editing Microsoft Word 2003 documents containing large tables when using the Oracle Drive is too slow to be useful. Editing large tables is not a problem via SMB or when document is stored locally.  This issue appears to be related to the size of the table rather than the size of the Word document.


EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
Expect same performance as a Windows Share drive.

-- Steps To Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create a Word document with large table (5 columns * 150 rows)
2. Access document via Oracle Drive to see performance slow down.

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot edit Word documents with large tables.
