Using LDAP Provider, Is It Possible to Authenticate Users from LDAP, But Assign Roles from Content Server? (Doc ID 764156.1)

Goal

You want to use LDAP to authenticate the users; that is you will use the user name and password stored in the LDAP directory to make sure the user can log in to Content Server.

However, you are not grabbing any groups from the LDAP server and matching them to roles in Content Server. Instead, you want to assign the user roles directly from Content Server.

Is it possible to do this with the standard Content Server LDAP provider?
